I personally thought Bianca Miller had an awesome product idea.
-Matching hosiery to women's skin shade
Although her initial product range was quiet wide; as she wanted to cover a few shades, in a few sizes, in a few deniers I thought she had an amazing niche product.
I thought this product would especially benefit women with different yellow and black skin tones but also woman who wanted a pink tight that looked completely natural without looking too shiny.
The initial packaging for the product was terrible! The red font on the white packaging with a picture of legs on was really tacky and looked nothing like a luxury product! In the situation i would of used a ombre style packaging, starting from a matt colour of the tight shade in the packet to a matt black. Really sleek and sexy.
Each tight colour would have a classy womans name making the tights personal and feminine.
Barely any writing on the from just the logo.
Consumers could pick up the packaging and compare it to there own skin colour if they wished.

Also, Bianca's price bracket was a bit high at £30 a pair... if they tights had promised not to ladder or be sweat resistant it might of been a tad more bearable. The focus group also suggested 2 pairs in the price. The price definitely make the tights a luxury product, however customer may see the tights as occasion only wear and this will limited purchases.
