I adore the Anna Sui' SS14 'The Mist of Avalon' collection. The mix of rich peacock colours and ethnic prints work beautifully together to create different exotic bohemian stories. The gold trimmings and accessories, such as the headpieces and pendants, add the finishing touches. The combination of shiffon and crochet work perfectly hand in hand. The collection was inspired by English Pre-Raphelite painting. I wish I was brave enough to mix prints and pull off a style like this! The overall collection represent an intriguing and travelled yet effortless look.
The last dress is beautiful! I would love to be able to wear stuff like that but I always feel like a cross dresser when I put something like this on...:D
ReplyDeleteHey Katie :) nahhhh, the clothes are too elegant to think you'd look like that! Just float around like hippie in one of these babies and the look works ;)
