Bettie Page reveals all

By far this is one of the best documentaries I have watched in a long time.

Betty Page; what a beautiful and inspirational woman.
In the film you learn about her unfortunate upbringing in the US to how she becomes one of worlds most famous pin ups. The low and high times in life. Her lovers. Her career.

She seems like a really natural woman, beautiful, funny not fake at all. She poses so naturally in many different characters. She turns something that could of potentially been sleezy at that time into an art form.!
I love how she can go from an innocent cheeky girl to a sultry demanding queen. Her figure is one I aspire to, so curvy and womanly; a figure most girls can identify to!

Also the signature hair is to die for... to be honest im thinking of growing mine out because of her ;)

Hair.

Recently I've been a tad bored with the same old same old hair. I decide to cut my hair short about two months ago and it was the best thing I did! My hair is healthier and so much more easier to style! Most days I sleep in sponge hair curlers, I tend to avoid curling on freshly washed hair because the curls tend to go frizzy! It's the same when I'm attempting to do victory curls, a bit a grease does the trick! Also, a ribbon does wonders to a ponytails or pinned back bangs; really completes a fifties do! I tend to prefer 1940's style hair for day and a 50's full hair of curls at night. I also recommend anyone a good mouse when blow drying hair, is provides the hair with a nice volumous bounce! Also brushing curls out with a rounded bristle brush creates a beautiful 50's wave

Lepel love

For Christmas this year I got these beautiful sets! The detail is gorgeous! I never usually go for a nude set due to being for pale but I think these will be an exception! The mesh trim and embroidery is divine. I would recommend Lepel to anyone who wants a comfortable set for everyday use; from past experience the fabric is gorgeously soft. I also love full briefs at the moment, I've never been a fan of a thong...

Also MERRY CHRISTMAS! Have an awesome day!

Victoria Secret Fashion Show - SS15 - LDN 2014

Tonight's the night! Currently all snuggled up with a cuppa in my flat mate's room literally mesmerized by the angels. One word, perfection.

'Fairy Tale'- Hoizer's song ('Take me to church) really fitted the dark mystical atmosphere. The Angels strutted with power and were utterly sultry. However, still cute and playful, like a just discovered woodland creature. The Garments were beautifully light and flowy. The colour palette was natural and earthy, frosted with glitter like a winter forest.

'Exotic Traveller' - Not really impressed with this story; the pieces were fun and bursting with colour. Unfortunetly, Ed Sheeran's single ('Thinking out loud') didn't suit the themes adventurous garments and mood. This was a shame as this story featured the famous 'Fantasy' Bra. The song was very deep and emotional, unlike the far east inspired intimates.

'University of Pink' - Cute, fun, girly but sports luxe. The light pinks and metallics were light and refreshing suiting a younger target market who want practical but little miss naughty set. The sport band trims gave a street style vibe that portrayed attitude and slight androgyny.

'Angel Ball' - I LOVE! I love the Gothic lace and dark seductive colours. Playful bondage straps. Balconettes and structured luscious lingerie . The 4 Piece sets and sheer boudoir gowns both revealed and concealed the Angel's fascinating physique's. This was by far my favourite theme!
